Key members of the California Agricultural Labor Relations Board (ALRB) staff have a revolving door relationship with the United Farmworkers (UFW) union.
Their bias is in direct violation of state law, which requires the ALRB to be impartial. These revolving-door staff lawyers have been major players in the controversial, expensive, and possibly illegal ALRB prevention of farmworkers from having their votes counted to decertify the UFW.
These cronies move between the union and the state agency taking care of union business on the state payroll.
Chaired by William B. Gould, the ALRB is charged with overseeing the Union in an unbiased and impartial relationship. An election by farm workers to decertify the union has been held up in the courts by this group for almost two years at a cost of millions of taxpayer dollars, while the workers languish in the fields.
Is the ALRB impartial? Watch the video and decide.
