At least, that’s what the ALRB’s public events calendar is telling us. It’s blank.
Of course, the ALRB is doing quite a bit right now, but it’s all in secret.
The secretive ALRB has targeted farmworkers who won’t pay 3% of their income to the UFW.
It’s busily trying to force farmworkers and employers into UFW contracts that neither the workers nor employers want.
But all of that is secret. Not even the farmworkers are allowed to witness the proceedings that govern their fate.
And, of course, the ALRB still won’t count the ballots we cast in 2013 to de-certify the UFW as our collective bargaining representative. It’s all a racket, but we won’t give up.
